Last year, members of the Mass Green Network passed almost 40 local laws to reduce plastic waste. When we started in October 2015, there were 23 bylaws and ordinances on plastic bags and polystyrene. Now there are 62.
At our 2017 summit we will reflect on the lessons of the past year, share our stories, learn about new resources and best practices, both for passing new regulations, and for implementing those that have been adopted. See the schedule here.
If you're working to pass a new law to green your community, or if you're saddled with the task of implementing a new local regulation about plastic bags or polystyrene, then please come.
Admission is absolutely free!
